Kitesurfing Brands – The Complete List

Every kitesurfer has their favorite kite and kitesurfing brand.

Going back to the start, when kites began appearing in the sky over our beaches, lakes and lagoons, there was no concept of kitesurfing or any kitesurfing brands.

No stores, no manufactures, competitions or team riders.  

There was only local manufacturers designing them in their garages while some windsurfing brands began testing this exciting new sport. There was no such thing as a kiteboarder / kite surfer.

The equipment and concept of kitesurfing has not changed a lot since around 2000.

It was at this point this hobby/ outdoor activity turned into a fully-established sport with many dedicated and exclusive kitesurfing brands. Most of the big kitesurfing companies today, were the brands that helped push kitesurfing to what it is today.

On today’s market you will find several kitesurfing companies developing a full line of products. This includes kites, kite bars, boards, foils, harness, clothes and other accessories.
